Receipt of Stock
Warehouses can receive palletised loads. Allocated areas for quarantined stock ensuring no cross contamination and confusion with "clean stock" have been incorporated into the model. The area consists of a cage to ensure no confusion with other stock.
The site also possesses a separate secure caged area where ethical stock is stored. This is within a secure code access area with "approved personnel only", permitted entry.
All our sites are fully air-conditioned and meet temperature requirements for the storage of medications under the wholesaler code of practice. Monitoring is performed via a computer program that will automatically alert the warehouse manager and general manager in the event that temperatures exceed requirements. Sensor monitors are located at different levels within the warehouse to ensure temperatures can be monitored at different heights. This information is stored 24 hours per day on weekly backed up hard drives and reports can be generated on request.
In addition, daily, weekly or monthly reporting can be created via emailed reports directly to the company.
Demurrage and detention – this is the current arrangement we have in place with our suppliers and logistic providers – Australia Post and AAE.
Storage
Skid pallets can be received at our operations via forklift. Stock is then stored on to a heavy-duty long span shelving systems with loose stock stored on more accessible shelving allowing faster picking of shipper quantities.
Security
Market Reach’s facilities possess wholesaler licenses for pharmaceutical sales in the states of Victoria. Warehouse standards conform to TGA requirements and Good Warehousing Practice. The facility has had external third party audits in the past to ensure compliance.
Sites are under 24-hour security via Signature Security Services with site managers on call 24 hours per day for call outs in the event of an alarm. A full list of personnel on call can be provided upon request.
Close circuit digital TV's monitor all sites with hard drives being backed up every week. In addition, the CCTV is remotely accessed via internal security officers located at Reservoir Head Office for internal audits and checks. Access to the storage area is secure with access only after consultation, sign in of entry book at front area, and escort with the respective Warehouse staff member. Further to this, a separate cage is located on site where S4 medications are housed and fulfilment is performed separate to non scheduled medications.
In the event of a security breach out of hours, Signature will lodge a file to our warehouse manager.
Our facilities have been licensed to store and distribute pharmaceutical products.
Operation Hours
Market Reach fulfilment currently operates five days per week.
Ambient dispatch can only occur Monday to Friday via Australia Post
Cold dispatch occurs from Monday to Wednesday via AAE.
Currently hours of trade are 8.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
